Hi Lew,
I think we talked about this once before. The K&K would be fine. Certainly will sound a lot better than the original LM317 based circuit. I ended up using my variation of Camille's C3S circuit for some of mine and one of Gary Pimm's circuits for others. Both worked great. The K&K has the advantage of simplicity though.
