Hello to all.
This is a phenomenon that i have been observing on my current breadboarded project. I have two SE interstages per channel in there, and each of them "sings" along with the music. The input IT is 5K 1:1 driven by an rp of about 1k3, output IT is 5K 1:1+1 driving a tiny 110pf worth of Stax electrostats. The input IT's are the worst offenders. However, the sound is fine, but i suspect some sort of ringing or oscillation and curing that could provide even better sound.
The current through them is within spec. Adding resistors to the secondaries (50K accros input IT, 887K+887K to output IT) seemed to calm things down a bit.
Any ideas as to what is going on?
Thanks in advance,
Joris
