I have both software packages and I've found that the software will get you in the ballpark. I won't get you first base. I've also found that if you put in some classic circuit values that have been standard for half a century that alarms and whistles go off in TUBE CAD and tell you IT WON'T WORK when in actuality it will work very well, especially white cathode followers. It seems that Mr. Broskie has used his "pet" tubes and his "pet" modus operandi. There is a lot of math that has to happen and it would be difficult to say the least for all that math to happen in one very affordable package. All in all he's done a very good job. Just follow the manual. If you have put in wrong values (B+ voltage, Rk, it has a MAKE IT HAPPEN that will correct and get you back within the limits of the tube. Moe Bias
