Another vote for the SSG silver and mica

I've been using Russian caps for many years now, big fan of them. IMO their only drawback is their large size. For coupling I use the SSGs (silver/mica), if you need a higher voltage rating the KSGs (another silver/mica type) are great as well. A lot of folks like the Russian Teflons, but as Cleantimestream says, they take a long break in.

I use the MBGOs in power supplies, and cathode bypass (try to eliminate when I can), where I need lots of C. I like the KBGs for output on line stages, parafeed caps, and speaker crossovers.
