Good luck. I have reported several fraudulent ads/sellers to ebay and no action has been taken. All they are interested in is the bucks.Their new Global Shipping Program is a total scam of highly questionable legality. They use Pitney Bowes as an intermediary to make the business appear to be at arms length and then cop hefty kickbacks for every consignment. The overseas consumer pays a premium for a dysfunctional service: the items are transferred all over the US using rock bottom cost carriers before shipping, and hence take longer to arrive than USPS. Because of multiple handing items are also more frequently damaged.
Ebay have inflicted this monstrosity on sellers as a default so they have to opt out if they want to consign the item themselves. Many don't even realise Ebay has imposed it on them and the implications for their overseas sales figures.
I just hope some class actions eventuate.
