Hagerman snubber vs. 5U4GB

Having used Hagerman snubbers on a couple of amps with solid state rectification I have now turned my attention to an amp that uses a 5U4GB rectifier.

I google some writings on the matter but cannot figure out whether to put the snubber across pins 4 and 6 or pins 8 and 2 (or both). Both are secondaries no?

I’m thinking that snubbing the 5v heater (pins 8 and 2) I should eliminate all high frequency oscillation that may bleed into the amp, but I don’t have a scope to measure.

And then on a related topic, is it a worthwhile Idea to snub the secondaries on isolation transformers? I have been reading as much as I can on Hagerman snubbers but cannot find anything for isolation transformers. But I figure being transformers, they will suffer the same high freq. oscillation as power transformers do.

Thanks

Cleet.
