RE: 600v secondary/12.5 uf capacitor input/2000 piv bridge rectifier. Do I need soft start?

I would definitely use a soft start or in rush limiters...The other option would be to use a GZ34 or a pair of them as they slowly bring up the B+ being they are indirectly heated.
