Here in the US the sockets for the 1625 can be purchased quite easily and inexpensively - $3.00 each (plus shipping) or 4 for $10. These are the (I assume) standard Chinese products that seem to work OK, though not nearly the quality you see in old American made boat anchors sockets.
BTW, esrcvacuumtubes.com * is also a good source for tubes as long as you are not picky about the brand. Stan caters mostly to the Ham crowd where such things are not very important.
