P&B are known for QUALITY. I suspect you have minimal cares about Hg leaking. However, anybody who uses parts containing Hg is well advised to keep a closed container of powdered sulfur handy. If breakage occurs, sprinkle powdered sulfur on the mess and allow to sit. Sulfur sequesters Hg as insoluble HgS. Even concentrated nitric acid lacks the ability to attack HgS.
