RE: Do you know of PCB shops that will accept autocad file as source?

Some old shops may still take positive plots. However the cost will surely be significantly higher as all the mechanical's will have to be manually entered.

I agree, you need to update to a modern PC board layout program with Gerber capabilities. Fortunately today there are many low cost options under $100 some even free.
