I suppose if you run a high output cartridge and have an additional line preamp stage that will do.

Just for comparison and not a criticism of your build, I built a similar (triode - passive eq - triode) phono stage but used 4 12ax7s (each stage paralleled) with constant current source loads and I get about 58db gain. works well to get ~2.5mv cart to line level with no preamp.

Nice work, seems solid and a sound design.
