Hi John, I am using a variac and limiting the plate voltage to about 400vdc. At that level which is 90% of wall voltage I am getting 63ma of current through the 470 ohm bias resistor. BTW, I hooked up my speakers and preamp and am listening to the amp and it sounds pretty decent. cheers, Dak
