back bias

hi,

In my amp I have a 50ohm resistor between the power trans CT and the first cap in the LCLC filter. The amp draws 100ma, so the CT is biased -5V with respect to ground.

I want to try using this negative voltage to bias the grid of the input/driver valve, which needs around -3V. After my research on past posts in the forum on various bias methods, I believe this is called back bias.

may I ask for some directions on how best to apply this bias scheme? a schematic would be great help.

thanks!
