RE: Resistor Replacement In Mc240

Big ol' Carbon Comp resistors are pretty durable. If the amp measures and sounds quiet, it is not absolutely essential to replace a resistor. When they are bad the voltages will be off and/or they will be noisy.

Get as much of the old part out as you can, but keep in mind, a little bit of cap or resistor lead is much smaller than a solder lug and wont affect the sound very much.
