Just gotta remember to flip the Standby switch, so that the PSU rail is connected to the preamp tubes. Amp unplugged. 8^)

Here's a photo you may like. This is what happens when one solders a filter cap in the main PSU with wrong polarity --- 1969 Bassman "doghouse" --- OUCH.

Here's the correct polarity. Tech soldered both caps on the left with the (-) facing down.
