No big admission here, but I'm not some famous tube amp designer hiding behind an internet moniker. What I am is a glorified "fix-it-man" who has worked in hospitals for the last 40 years. I can tell you the "mother of all mistakes" is assuming you know the cure/reason/cause for something just because something worked or made a difference. Rarely are people open minded enough to divest themselves from the results of their solutions and/or astute enough to understand all the factors involved. Ego is a dangerous thing.
Every Boeing engineer I have had the privilege of conversing with has been....well an extraordinary person in all ways. Heed this man’s advice, his only agenda is “truth”.
