I have been so out of touch. I just found all of Johns kits last night. Finally a shunt regulator kit that I can get right! I want 2 of those for me new preamp. But if you want fat tubey sound you might need big capacitance and a unregulated choked tube power supply instead. But who wants fat and lazy. Fast and fat would be my preference. I would try a pair of the shunt reg boards with one of the octal options. I think there is a balanced one there but if not it has to be magnequest nickel outputs!
