many that I have read over the past decade or so. The counter-argument is that they have not been set up correctly are oscillating etc.
Although I have not experimented with them, the comments I have read - including the positive ones - convince me that I would not like them either. For me, they are a compromise that need not be made.
For me, large(ish) plate pentode or DHT input/driver tubes. I have started experimenting with the former and will experiment with the later.
