Wow, that .op command is crazy! Thanks for the tip!
This gives all the basic operating conditions like you said which is important to get your circuit started instead of working out the math the old fashioned way(which I long forgot). Like you said, moving the probe over the device shows the conditions at the bottom of screen!
Tell me more about setting up a directive to view the transient behavior......interest on looking at distortion.
I have found the ac freq. response will tell you when a tube is being over driven with voltage gain.

See attached image, is this how you would model with inductors?

Downloaded CurveCaptor but it doesnt seem to like Windows 7
Need to fire up the MAC and try it.
I would run spice on the MAC but I don't have the latest OSX

Going to take a little bit of a break this weekend and traveling to NC for some mountain biking. Isn't there a guy in Asheville that builds a really nice GM70 ;-)
