RE: rant warning

"......at low frequencies, the inductance dictates the impedance and if you try to increase capacitance to make up for the loss of inductance, you are chasing your tail."

But aren't we interested only to 20Hz? Wouldn't the inductance of L2 (or the output transformer if a UltraPath cap is the subject) be whatever it is at 20Hz and some reasonable value?

BTW I've looked into "frequency dependent inductance value" a little and am not yet convinced that the effective inductance changes all that much in a well made filter choke. I could be wrong.
