RE: Regarding tube sockets: Limage JellyFish locking vs. Yamamoto Teflon or is plain old Ceramic good enough?

Job #1 is to make good contact between the tube pin and the socket. I have had some garbage new production sockets that I think used tin foil for the socket internals. This is another area where NOS American manufactured tube sockets are the only way I go. You do not need to get fancy with the socket, IMO.
