Seems if one is going for the most tweaked, high cost design, such as a V-cap, silver wire, SET., that would lead one to the Limage locking socket; however, the Yamamoto Teflon has the benefit of slightly damping microphonics in a preamp tube. Although, a silicone tube damper might be more effective. Of course, ceramic sockets have been used for decades in many successful products. After all, Tektronix and Hewlett-Packard used ceramic sockets.
Any thoughts or preferences, anyone?
