The maximum across the entire power transformer high voltage winding, if it is center tapped, is 40 Ohms, and I would prefer it to be a maximum of 20 Ohms across the entire winding, or, expressed another way, 10 Ohms from one end to the center tap.
In both chokes and power transformers, 20 Ohms is "High Fidelity", 10 Ohms is "Ultra High Fidelity", in my thirty years of listening to such parts.
ALL music reproduction / listening parameters improve with such low DCR, assuming adequate filtering to the finals exists. This is particularly evident in triode no feedback amps, which I usually build. You can search my prior posts on this Forum, starting about eight years ago.
