You've already described the B+ PSU, in general terms. Go pseudo dual mono, with separate 2nd LC sections for each channel, after the initial LC section that employs the "swinger".
B+ will be approx. 600V. How about "reissue" GEC KT88s working into the 5K primary "iron"? Tweaked Mullard style topology, with a CCS in the LTP's tail, will nicely take care of signal passing requirements. Definitely use high gm small signal tubes, not the low gm stuff shown in the seminal 5-20 schematic. An ECC99 in the LTP position "feels" right.
