Hi everyone
I am in the process of designing the power supply for my new SE amp project.
I have decided to use a choke input filter for the power supply section. I do have a question, would it be ok for 2 chokes to connect to the same rectifier? I would like to achieve better separation with separate supply rail for L and R channel, but due to filament winding, I am only able to use one rectifier.
It would look something like this:
5U4G -----> Choke --> Cap --> B+
|
|
---> Choke --> Cap --> B+
Would the above upset the rectifier? Current draw is only around 50 ma per side.
Many thanks
Eric
