RE: Active balanced Input?

Actually, the 6SN7s that came with these amps are a pair of old t-plate 6SN7GT (nice tubes). If they are only hooked up via the heater pins, not sure I need that level of quality.

The 7N7s that came with the amps were the later production triangle plates. I have swapped those out for some ca. 1950 t-plate military Sylvania 7N7s.

I am not sure that all 7N7s were made by Sylvania (although the vast majority were). While I am only aware of about 8 or 9 different types of 7N7s (varying by bottle size, plate structure, and plate and glass color), there is one with round plates that usually shows up as National Union branded. I have a few of them, but have not tried any in the amps yet.

There are even fewer types of 7F7s that I am aware of, but all do have plate structures that most likely came from Sylvania.
