Did you call me from my dark abode?
Yes, I thought about a career in electronics.
I went to a technical school and earned an AAS in Electronic Technology about 10 years ago. All the instructors were ex-military ET's.
I worked in semiconductor labs, field service for about 7 years with a medical company and few other jobs.
I got into building tube kits, Bottlehead gear, then went to DIY.
As far as the Fraker-Medwin influence, it took a leap of faith.
The arguments that JLH and John Swenson made for using these filters made me want to try it again after failing in the winter of 2008.
Those guys stated that Medwin's ideas would not be accepted by the scientific minds.
I was even reluctant but said WTF and bought the parts Jeff recommended.
It worked out well for my application , but I will always keep learning.
Of course, everyone can decide for themselves what is best.
