The photo you post is a spoof.

Such wire will have the "bad big wire sound" (rolled off highs) and will not be solderable onto the nubb of a solid lead out from a film cap.

One should try to use TWO runs of TCSS, (or one of Siltech), and Wonder Solder Classic. Delicious sounding.

It does not take much to figure out that good audio wire will be better than a solid copper (or non-copper) lead out on a film cap. Vooddooists and smart college teachers might tend to agree on that, without much second thinking..its called common sense.

"One way only" ?? For the record, besides any SE DC amps I build, I also have and use a circa 1978 Harmon Kardon 430 rebuilt receiver on Fulton speakers, and it is all solid state.

I appreciate all the thought and care you spent in discussing "me". It really wasn't warranted, and I don't deserve it.
