When you listen to music, what , if any , are the aural differences?? Better or worse?
The cap needs to be DOUBLED in VDC rating from "conventional calculated", to avoid a future failure problem, it is across the entire HV secondary !! I use 4,000 VDC rated caps there, Wima makes a .022 uF at 4,000 VDC snubber cap, readily available.
