On efficient speakers you can HEAR the mismatch and YOU did !!
A slight smearing, not the same clarity as a single section doing the audio. Diction is smeared. I aptly call it a "choir" effect, because the choir is a bunch of different sounds "supposedly the same", with a different result than say, a soloist singing.
Just common sense. Even a retired Beverly Hills stockbroker could get that one !! No averagely-educated EE can.
