I use Russian K40Y-9 or FT-3 teflon for audio circuits in values to .33uF. I find the teflon most neutral. A combo of K40Y-9 & FT-3 seems to perform best with the K40Y-9 upstream of the power tubes.
I prefer crystal clear & neutral sonics that does not 'color' the audio for home entertainment amplifiers. Some prefer a very warm tube sound with lots of 'color' and that is available with various capacitors. So, tune with different tubes to taste and still use the Russian capacitors- best value anywhere, failures are about non-existent.
