Anyone ever try implementing motor start caps for cathode bypass? I've used motor run for power supplies as the size requirements can be met however for cathode bypass it's another story. Motor start caps on the other hand are much smaller relatively speaking so as one could shoe horn them into a chassis if required. And since the voltage demands are less it would seem they might work. I haven't as yet taken a hammer to one to see what typically is inside one. I should have kept the ones that I've seen explode when a start relay hangs up and unrolled them, but I didn't.
