Hi, Dan. I agree that by your definition cathode degeneration is not feedback. But I also think your definition is overly restrictive and ultimately your way of thinking about feedback isn't as powerful or practical as the way engineers think about it.
I'd be gratified if after all this you were motivated to study network analysis more deeply and eventually came to see things the way I and other engineers do. But I'm not here to fight, so I can only share what I know and encourage you to work it out on your own.
