Tom Bavis picked up on this too - that's an awfully large value of bypass cap. Take his advice about reducing the size of the cap and listen again. Or go even smaller, maybe 330 pf or 270 pf.

It's VERY easy to get carried away trying to make the perfect wave.

I suspect the smaller values will give you "measures better and sounds better".
