Well , the mega builders aren't responding so I'll throw in the little I can.
It won't be a UL accepted practice but in three amps I've built that had tight component layout on the underside of the top plate, I ran the heater wiring as well twisted pairs from the Px straight up (with the amp upside down) then 90 degree bend and across space 2 or 3 inches above the top plate until directly over the tube socket pins and then 90 degree bend and straight to the pins. Whether the heater wiring had anything to do with it or not I can't say but those amps were among the quietest things I've done.
I've also used shielded wire once in a power amp for the driver and that worked well too.
