Hi.
Sorry sounded so upfront. But from my past experience with chips, I am yet to be impressed.
Technically speaking, the idea of allowing complex music signals to go thru tons of capacitive P/N junctions in linear Op-amp chips is unsound.
It may sound "absolutely awesome" to you. But I just can't stand it depriving the musical engagement a good triode amp always delivers. A triode is linear device, but a P/N junction is not.
I spent enough time to build my very simple 2-stage phonostage
with discrete NPN devices in dual monaural format, each channel discretely powered by battery, inter wired with shortest AG plated OFHC solid copper wire in Teeflon tubing insulation, metallized PE film caps coupling throughout, etc etc etc.
It sounds pretty close to my 2-stage triode tube phonostage, but still lacking the tube harmonics which apparently sound very pleasant to my picky ears.
Of course, sonics is so personally subjective.
