Versus five years ago? How long does your laptop battery last today? Dn't try to tell me the university electrical engineering sector does not understand power efficiency. Yes there have been battery advancements but also many advancemnents in switching power supply technology as well as low power CMOS.

Many here are weekend audio hobbiest with no other involvement in electronics of any kind. If they did, they would really start to see how some of these snake oil theories hold no water outside the audio business.
