Is it? Even Dr. Gizmo stated that you are getting a show, regarding the 300B. If you had said the 2A3, I'd be very hard pressed to disagree.
Time and most especially money permitting, I'd like to build a 300B amp that uses the 5K Ohm O/P impedance/40 mA. Ib/400 V. anode/-91 V. grid operating conditions set. Combination bias, with an unbypassed 470 Ohm cathode resistor, would be employed. Local current NFB would tame some of the 300B's (IMO) excessive HD.
