Yes indeed! That is why questions like, “what is the best capacitor" are nonsense. It is like asking, "what is the best wine" or "what is the best vegetable." A capacitor that sounds very good in one circuit can sound terrible in another circuit. A vegetable that tastes good in one recipe can taste terrible in another recipe.
That is not to say that one apple can’t be fresher and better tasting than another apple, and of course preference comes into play: do you prefer apple pie or pizza pie?
