I may prefer a K40Y-9 in one circuit and another type in a different circuit even if the circuits use the same tubes but at different operating parameters. Also, different caps using the same power tube in SE vs PP with same driver (splitter) tube.

The reason I post this is some post the findings of one cap as being superior can receive a negative response from another audiophile using that same cap in a different circuit.
