sure the peak is after start up but isn't the cap of 100uf still going to tax the 274B since it isn't constructed to take that initial current draw, which can lead to possible arcing and a shortened tube life.

I had a Cary amp with 1200uf after a paralled GZ34. Anything but the indirectly heated 34's would arc and last maybe a few months. With a CL90 in line all was solved as it limited current rush. I later went to a L193 inductor.
