Hi,I want to puke when I think about what you just disclosed.
The 7 HY Hammond 159Q has 100 ohms of DCR and chokes are a driven element, so it needs to be well under 20 ohms to get good sound, and I like them half the DCR of that.
Why spend the money on a costly WE rectifier tube when all else that follows is so poorly engineered? Its like putting expensive 21 inch chromed wheels on a Yugo !!
I would advise L1/C1/L2/C2 to the FINALs of your amp.
Two choices for the Ls: Triad C-40X 320 mHY at 10 ohms, or Hammond 159Y, 600 mHY at 11 ohms. The later Hammond will drop your B+ more than the former. The Triad will be a 6% drop, but you have EIGHTY OHMS LESS series resistance in the supply, so you will pick up some small amount of VDC there, (about 5 VDC, or about 1% gain) by eliminating the (abortion-from-hell) 100 ohm L.
Your amp will run FINE at 95% of a C-input filter configuration, except it will sound great !!
If you also need to feed B+ to a front end tube, additional R/C decoupling can be had after C2. Oh, make C1 and C2 47 uF 450 VDC Panasonic ED series electrolytics, about $4.02 each, and a great part for the money.
For long term reliability, use a Keystone CL-80 or CL-90 thermistor in one leg of the power transformer's primary, in all cases.
