If the amp is electrically identical to the 502 (just with a remote), then I would recommend the following:

1. Replace R6 with a current source in each channel.
2. move the red OPT wire to an independent RC netork (100 ohm 10w and 100uf @550v cap)
3. Adjust the resistor vales in the first stage to use a 12AV7, 12AT7, or 12AY7 (R3 to something like 270 ohms should allow for a 12AT7, but measure the plate voltage before hand, then set the plate voltage on the 12AT7 to be the same temporarily with a pot in place of the cathode resistor before soldering in the proper component).
4. Decrease the value of R1 (1k-3k)
5. Replace C5 and C6 with film caps (c5 at least 25uf, c6 as low as 4.7uf)


etc. etc. If you have room, grid chokes are nice, as are power supply chokes, but that's pushing it.
