Several things are at least as important as number of henries
as long as however many henries you have provides a large load at audible frequencies ( 2 k henries is 250k reactance at 20 Hz)
and moves the resonant frequency of the lc network as low as possible - (the larger the choke the easier this is to do with a small cap) then the henries are enough
You also want a low dcr path to ground and wide bandwidth winding techniques
Reactive materials like m6,nickel or cobalt are important for detail
The value as such is a small part and any figure from about 500 H up to 4-5k will work as a grid choke (Some people actually prefer smaller chokes). There are other harder to measure things that are more important
The magnequest chokes are built with quality materials and advanced winding techniques - and to be fair I doubt you will find any decent grid chokes for much less than 100 bucks a pair for the m6 ones - or $150 for the nickel!!
I have some magnequest , some silk audio and S+B and they are all in similar price range and all pretty good .
