Pao, hi. SLM is on the money with this one. Often a transformer maker will indicate the addition of a little RC network on the secondary to quell ringing (overshoot & recovery). I have often thought such things are to satisfy scope jockeys who can't sleep at night if there is the slighest hint of ringing. Try it both ways. Your ears should tell you what sounds best. Have fun with your pre-amp project and Happy Listening. Oh, and come back and tell us how it all turns out. You may give someone else the courage to go forth and do.
