Perhaps wrong choice of word.
I guess it's ultimately about being lazy.
I got the 24-bit remastered CD because that's what the store had. I cannot see how that would matter.
My bad. I do have a couple of CDs I have listened actively to. I just don't have many CDs. Less than 2 dozen. I never cared for them. But some are actually great. The thing is, there's no CD to compare them to. The Brubeck CD only sounds bad when you compare it to the LP. After that you know what you are missing.
But we're getting way OT here.
