hey-Hey!!!,
I suggest getting into custom OPT's. One can spec the coil paper as Nomex from many thicknesses. I have seen Mylar used in vintage Iron too, so knowing what is 'inside' the various designs is useful.

The finals running their grid ref. through a coil is quite good. PP grid chokes do it for me very well. I have not gotten gNFB to sound as good as short-path FB paths on the primary side. CFB with tertiary windings is also nice...:)
