What has music got to do with audio?

Seriously, I listen to music daily. I just haven't had the time to sit down and just listen to music. Vinyl is for active listening. CD is for passive listening. In fact, I don't think I have ever actively listened to a CD, save for A-B test between LP and vinyl. The 24-bit remastered Time Out CD was so disappointing compared to the LP, I have never been able to take the CD as a serious format.
