That seems to be the classical way of doing things but I'm talking about creating a gentle bass boost through resonance (somewhere around 20Hz in this case). A 300H choke achieves this and even lower, down to 200H will work with 0.22uF.

A very high AC impedance at low frequency is not really necessary unless your OP impedance is correspondingly high, much higher than would be typical of a pre out.
