A long time ago I have tried several approaches in SET amp final tube heating: AC, rectified DC with CRC filter, voltege regulated DC, voltage regulated and later current sourced DC, Tent DC source and 160kHz AC heating. The tube was either 300B, 45 or 2A3.

What am I using: AC.
